About Mike
I was born and raised in California and received degrees from University of California and Los Angeles Recording School before moving to Melbourne in 2001. In addition to my degrees, I have studied privately with many different professional studio and touring musicians, and have always endeavoured to continue learning throughout my career. Since 2007, I’ve released numerous recordings, and have toured regularly through Australia, Europe, and the US.
As a teacher, I’ve taught just about every style of music and enjoy catering lessons to each individual. I have a flexible approach to teaching and have worked with students of all skill levels to achieve their goals, whether that is a technical and disciplined approach, a fun and casual one, or anywhere in between.
